Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love worshipping God and singing freely in service focussing only on Him.

2. I also love serving in God’s house, after walking into this house just over a year ago my perspective has changed on serving in God’s house and I’m excited to be a part of building it and serving in it.

3. I love hanging out with friends from church and encouraging and building one another up. I love just hanging out and talking about life and what God is doing in each others lives.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

People who are closer to my age and who are passionate about the same things I’m passionate about.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I’m excited about our music that we are releasing from our house. I’m also excited about us being part of Hillsong Family I believe that will give us many opportunities in the future. I’m just excited for where the church is headed in the future and I’m happy that I can be a part of it.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian at 5 years old at my old church when the pastor called up the kindergarten class and invited us all to say a prayer to ask Jesus into our hearts. I remember going up with my parents and them praying with me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

City View International Church Ottawa, helped with set up/tear down and taking care of the toddlers and nursery kids. 3-4 years.

Social Media at myChurch 2017-2018

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Coming to myChurch and finding family and a place where I feel so loved and accepted!! This is probably my biggest highlight because I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this church and the amazing people I’ve come alongside.

I loved taking care of the babies and toddlers at my old church I had a lot of fun with it and it’s shaped my love for kids today.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I went through a year where I wasn’t feeling God when I was 12 and all I wanted was to feel loved and accepted by others. I had lost my best friend around this time and I was heartbroken because we were super close. I also always wanted to prove my mom wrong all the time and side with my dad and be like him. I came out of that season when I was 14 and I learned that God is always with me and He loves and care for me.

I fell into another tough season when I was 16, I couldn’t feel God again and He felt really far away. I tried to fill that gap of love and acceptance by unhealthy relationships with friends who weren’t like minded to me. It was super hard, but I came out of that season when we found myChurch and it helped me so much finding family.

Also living through the difference of opinion of church in my household where my mom has always had a passion for God and going to church but I haven’t seen that from my dad growing up. It has given me great compassion for others going through the same thing because it’s b been pretty hard growing up.
