I try to give 10% to the church, enjoy giving to a handful of organizations that help feed children and fight against abortion. I also like giving gifts to family and friends.

This one surprises me a little. Helping with coffee hours really causes anxiety, but maybe it’s those other things such as cleaning, helping with organizing or tracking data? Those things, especially the data or research give more energy?

[E]xperience

I grew up in the church. Even as a young child, I remember wanting to go to church and even remember going by myself one time. Loved the stories and the joy church brought in different ways. As I grew older, I because rebellious and drifted further and further from the Lord, but I can remember being hit by a car as a pedestrian as a teen. I remember thinking this was a miracle and a time to change. There has been other moments like my uncle having cancer where I prayed and decided to go to church. It was by going to church that different people started to volunteer me for things. I had heavy convictions and an unworthy feeling. I kept thinking I will participate more once I get some of these sins “under control” . Nope, the Lord knew what he was doing by using these others.
