Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I have attended church my entire life, I accepted Jesus as my savior at a young age but didn’t really understand what being a Christian meant until I was a mom. I still struggle with giving God control of all areas of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I got involved in ministry when I was 10. I helped in the nursery and in children’s church. As a teenager I helped with children’s church and actually started Children’s Church with my sister in Hudson, Michigan at Hudson Faith Assembly of God. As an Adult I helped in the Nursery, taught a Royal Ranger’s class, and latter Children’s Church.

I sang in the choir at Bethany Assembly of God in Adrian Michigan in 1993 or 1994.
In 2000 I sang in the choir at Adrian Church of God, I also sang specials. I attended there until 2010 during those 10 years: I was in a play, I taught Wednesday night youth classes, lead worship for the children’s church, I was also the president of the Women’s ministries.

I volunteered at the Church of God youth camps in Fenton, Michigan. The first year I volunteered I was a camp counselor (BIG MISTAKE!), after that I volunteered in the concession stand.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

becoming a mother

getting married to my husband of 21years.

homeschooling 4 children.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having an alcoholic father

My first child (daughter) died at birth 1987 & I had a miscarriage in 1997.

The years when 2 of my kids decided they didn’t want me in their lives.
