#1 Gift, Giving (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I grew up witnessing my parents generosity even when we did not have a lot. And because I experienced how it is to have so little. Now God gave me so much and I am grateful for all the blessings I receive. I am paying it forward.

#2 Gift, Mercy Showing (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Again, experiencing not having enough allows me to feel the other person’s suffering. Being bullied when I was a kid, I know how it feels to be marginalized. My heart aches when I see people marginalized, or begging.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (65%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I experienced how it is to have a relationship with God and how it was without. I want others to know that there is an answer to their suffering. That there is a God who loves them and let them know about Jesus.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Was born a Catholic. Grew up in church. Both my parents were very active in church. Attended catechism when I was a kid and taught catechism when I was a young adult. But never had a strong relationship with God. Jeff introduced me to PV. He was very instrumental with me having a relationship with God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Catechism Teacher – Roman Catholic in Philippines

Served in Awana – PV

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting Jeff

Attaining Scuba Diver’s license. This helped me overcome fear. I was always afraid of the river/sea/lakes. I overcame that fear by taking a scuba diving lesson. I discovered how beautiful God’s creation is seeing the corals and schools of fish.

Riding the roller coaster in the Stratosphere building in Las Vegas. That experience also taught me how to overcome fear.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad became alcoholic when I was in High School.

Leaving my daughter in the Philippines while I pursue my career in Hong Kong.

Growing up thinking my Dad did not love me. Now I know he does.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Help the poor in the Philippines and introduce a personal relationship with Jesus.

4. For kids who belong to the foster care system or orphanage, let them feel loved.

5.
