My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the church and accepted Christ in 4th grade. I’ve made plenty of bad choices but fortunately nothing too life altering.

Centreville Baptist Church, Centreville, VA – Financial Peace/Generation Change facilitators (5 ish?), preschool Sunday school teachers (2 years), elementary VBS leader (3 years), nursery volunteer (4+ years)

Bethlehem Baptist Church – nursery volunteer (2 years)

El Rancho De Paz – Camp Counselor, assistant cook, kitchen crew, snack shack, Special Olympic volunteer (5 years)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting, dating and being married 20 years to my husband.

Spending most of my teen years go to or working/volunteering at a Christian camp/ranch.

Paying off $90,000 of debt after being unemployed for a bit.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad was a ‘yeller’. Depending on the day simple problems were made into a BIG deal.

I’ve worked in a few Christian schools and found the people there to be very judgy instead of happy.

We spent 6.5 months unemployed. We had money and groceries anonymous given to us.
