S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Sophie Robles for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel as if I have this gift not because I go out and preach to thousands, but because I preach to my friends or I show strangers the love of Jesus upon them.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My top love language is words of affirmation so I feel I just naturally show love through my words. I’m always the one sending random encouraging messages or cheering for you loudest. I love the way people face change when you verbally affirm them.

#3 Gift, Serving (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Im constantly serving, not just at church. I see shopping carts in the parking lot I will load them up and take them to the building, or I see an elder struggling I go and lend them a hand. It can be whatever I always try to pray ” God use me, let me be the hands and feet of Jesus today”.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I absolutely love group! It’s just something about it that is just so refreshing and up lifting.

2. I also love to sing. I took singing lessons with the worship leader at my church and I could tell a huge difference in my voice, but i’m not completely confident in my voice yet, but I’m working on it. Hopefully soon I can join the worship team.

3. The third thing that brings me joy would have to be taking pictures. Another place I save is on our creatives team, it took me a while to be confident in my work but after I got past it I truly enjoy it.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I’m going to have to say older people. Not like in their 60’s but like 20-30’s just because I feel as if I can learn a lot from them and prepare for the next season of life i’m going into to.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

One of the church issues that excite me most believe it or not is our kids program. I truly just see so much growth and I can visualize all the good things god is going to do through us.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I always grew up in church but I never really had a relationship with God. Then one day we went looking for a better church because ours was very rude and exclusive. So we ended up finding a church and absolutely loving it, we’ve been going ever since and that is when I started having a relationship with God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Youth camp .

Holy Spirit group ( its where I got my prayer language and grew a bond with Jesus.

Internship( the select few that singed up the leaders just poured into us and pushed us harder than we’ve ever been pushed. They never gave up on us.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Ever since I was younger i’ve been bullied over everything , manly my weight so it has grown a soft spot in my for young girls with a bigger Bodie to just encourage them to never give up and to not let it hold them back.

Going along with the first one I’ve always have been excluded from everything so I have great empathy for the loner kinds.

The last one would be people that grew up in not the best homes. No, my home was not the worst, but also not the best. It was just a toxic place to be nobody communicated with each other then would just lash out.
