Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My brother was killed by a drunk driver right before my senior year of high school and I was unchurched prior. I spent the year trying to find out what happens after death and after exhausting myself all year, was ministered to by a christian at my church that brought me broken to the cross.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Campus Crusade for Christ – Texas A & M 4 years. Converted to Catholic to marry wife, Laura. Kids ministries at Ascension Parish (2 years) in California and feeding homeless in San Diego with High School ministry (1-2 years). Supported Young Life in Arizona with fundraising multiple years. Supported Special Olympics with financial support and events support multiple years. Supported many ministries financially when they were laid on my heart as spirit filled and in need. Teardown for Mission Church for 2 years and Deacon for 3 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being brought to Christ when I was broken by a Christian that cared and saw my need. My faith given has never wavered since.

Being married to my wife, Laura, who is a joy and has love on her heart and a spirit of happiness always.

Having our 4 children – including our first child, Ronny, who has “special needs” – which translates to “having the heart of Jesus” and seeing all children led to Christ.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having my brother die so I could find eternal life.

Working and being broke in college, but always faithfully provided for any real need.

Having a heart attack (Widow Maker) and realizing that I could be more faithful, a better husband, father and provider.

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those
