Thank you Ronnay Voris for taking the SHAPE Assessment. Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Raised in a very legalistic cult, at 18 gave up on God because I realized there was no way I could keep all His laws; if I was going to hell anyway, I might as well do it my way. At 28, I was ill, housebound, had read everything in the house, turned back to the Bible. I had never read the Gospel of John (the cult had very strict reading schedules) and discovered that Christ had provided a way, if I would receive Him, so I could spend eternity with Him! With GREAT joy, I accepted His authority over every aspect of my life. He is my Lord and Savior.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Agape Bible Church: Pastor, Sunday school teacher, youth leader, hospital visitation 1982-92. Teen Missions Int.: Team leader 1992-2000, Team Leader Training Seminar instructor 19 94-2000, Bible school instructor 2004(?)- 2018. Associate pastor-facilities, benevolence, and missions 2000-2007, WEGO (Worldwide Evangelical Gospel Outreach) missionary- Maintenance and repair of facilities (US, Nicaragua, Mongolia).

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Leaving the pastorate and my contracting business in California to serve with Teen Missions in Florida

Leaving Teen Missions to serve a local church as associate pastor

Leaving the pastorate, again, to serve with WEGO

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Depressed and attempted suicide before I became a Christian, 1970.

Our son came down with spinal meningitis in 1973, very difficult to watch your son on the verge of death with nothing you can do about it.

I worked with a Mongolian contractor to build an orphanage in Mongolia, working through a translator, only to discover that the translator was a close relative of the contractor and the two had cost the ministry thousands of dollars.
