Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

In my mid twenties, my marriage was falling apart and life was a mess. The Lord had put several Christians in my path to reveal himself to me and one night on my bathroom floor I cried out to God and gave him my life. I had nothing to offer but this broken mess but he could do what he wanted to me if he would come into my life and take over. And He did! Immediately I felt his peace even though nothing circumstantial had changed, he brought me peace. And my life has never been the same. No matter the circumstances, even in the darkest places, he is there to hold me up even when I seem to be hanging by a thread of hope! He is Faithful and True!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Nursery, meal ministry, ladies bible study co-leader, choir. – Echo Valley Grace Brethren Church, Tremont, PA (10 years altogether)

Kids church, JBQ, nursery, Worship team, mission trip to the homeless in New York City with youth group. – Living Waters Chapel, Lebanon, PA (15 Years altogether)

Nursery, Ladies bible study leader, women’s ministry team – Pine Grove Community Church, Pine Grove, PA (4 years altogether)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My sister being my mentor in my relationship with Christ. Even though she lives many states apart from me, she has always been there to encourage, challenge and teach me the importance of the Word of God.

Sheryl Jackson – a former pastors wife was the most real demonstration of love of God in everything thing she said and did. She never said a negative thing about others and she always put on love despite circumstances.

Sharing Christ with those around me who have now given their life to Christ and seeing them grow in Christ has been such a great blessing to me.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Struggling with Marriage difficulties and infidelity. Surviving through infidelity and living with a husband who was an unbeliever for many years and then he wandered away from God for years. Has taught me to lean on Christ as my hope and my counselor and to fix my eyes on Him who is able.

Growing up with tremendous insecurity, lack of confidence, little self worth. Finding that I’ve been bought with the precious blood of Christ, that word revealed to me through Christ has done more for me as a person and understanding the value Christ sees in me is so very freeing! It has helped me to grow in being me and not worried so much as to what others think or their value of me.

Having a premature baby at weighing 1 lb. 13 oz at 26 weeks gestation and then a 2nd child with complications at birth then told he has a blood disease, then heart disease and both children are healthy, grown and married on their own. And having a friend who struggled with having an abortion and the scars that left on her. Life is a precious gift from the Lord.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Write a book, blog, or devotional helpingothers to see there is hope to be found in the Word of God. Especially helping women to not run quickly to divorce in marriages that seem impossible but to realize that in giving themselves more wholly to Christ He can do amazing things through them in spite of their circumstances.

4. Become a prayer warrior.

5. Become an advocate for life and stomp out abortion, sex trafficking , slavery, and love those who are untouchable like those with leprosy, or aids, imprisoned for their faith.
