[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Songwriting and making music. In particular pushing my artist brand so to put something out there that is not necessarily for the Christian market but reflects truth in a subtle way

2. Being with my daughter

3. Personal development in all aspects of my life, ultimately self understanding and seeking the truth

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I like to work with musicians who have a certain level of emotional intelligence. Probably people with in a similar age group to me. They do not necessarily have to be Christians. I also like working with students who are not necessarily the best in their subject but they want to do things with their lives. Therefore, i can enable them

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

The lack of knowledge about neuro diversity with in the church. The wonder as to whether we are communicating in a way that is actually going to reach people. The connection between art and faith.

*Mark the Top 3 from the list, that Trigger a Passion in You

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to a Christian based boarding school. Interestingly it was not my first choice, but obviously Gods in the UK. A friend introduced me to it. Through a combination of talking and getting to know each other, along with talking about everything else. It went that way

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Been going to Emmanuel church in Northwood in the UK for 13 years. I was on the worship team for a while as one of their worship leaders. I also was a leader for a home group for a while

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Doing a song writing masters and singing and getting a distinction for it. It really gave me the confidence that artistry is a keep part to who I am and what I want to do, or even, though it may not be in a work based context, what I do.

Becoming a Dad. Its tough sometimes with desires to be an artist but my daughter is great.

Going into therapy for 13 years . It was a difficult experience. I learnt how I could be at one with God and psychologically separate from negative people in my life. Also the non judgemental aspect of it helped me a lot as to how to see people.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being in a controlling/ abusive marriage. (I’m still in it but looking to leave it) Its certainly made me realise the importance for Christians, or people in general to have a space to talk about this, especially men when there is potentially still stereo typical expectations.

Working in teaching and learning about ADHD. I did not like being a teacher in high schools but through learning about it I have a compassion for people with neuro diversity and understand how its difficult to access God because of it… but not impossible

My childhood was with an absent father and an emotionally abuse, or at least thats what it felt like at the time, mother, who I realise was, and still is, mentally ill. I see things on a wider level on so many issues because of this and realise that some times traditional points of view or even approaches to faith need to be re examined.
