[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I enjoy actively listening to people and their stories and sharing my journey of faith.

2. I love sitting down with a group of believers and digging deep into the Bible while also asking how it applies to their lives. Interactive discussions have proved to be the most meaningful to the groups I have led.

3. I love training and equipping believers for a task and then watching them use their gifts for the glory of God.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with Christians who are hungry and desire to grow in their faith journeys. I have especially enjoyed reaching out to young adults.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I enjoy ministries that reach out to the community and make a difference such as block party’s.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was not walking with the Lord growing up. I was focused on sports and popularity in high school. At the end of my senior year of high school, I started to date a girl. In the summer, I found out that I got her pregnant. I was broken and did not know where to turn. Then, three months into the pregnancy, my cousin shared the gospel with me and my life radically changed.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

First Friends Church in Canton as Assistant Director of Sports Ministry (involved for 3 years)

John Knox Presbyterian Church in North Canton as Associate Pastor (involved for 10 years)

Interfaith Campus Ministry at Stark State College in North Canton as Interfaith Campus Minister (involved 2 years in current role and volunteered for several years)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Working closely with a number of spiritual mentors who helped me in personal growth and ministry.

Co-leading a Bible study called “More” a year after coming to Christ.

Being asked to work at First Friends Church a year after being saved. It was through this experience that I felt called into ministry,

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I talked to a priest shortly after my conversion and he shared that I was reading the Bible too much.

A leader from a church once asked me what if people from his church do not believe my testimony.

Being insulted by a man less fortunate because he felt my church was not generous.
