3. Coming to church and listening to Gods word
I usually work with people much older than me because of my job, but I would like to start working with people closer to my age and younger. It’s fun to work with people that enjoy a fast-paced environment

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I went to church all my life and never really cared about knowing Jesus because it was more about the friends and events than knowing God. It was only until I graduated college, moved in with parents, and started working that God was opening my eyes to see the different areas I really mess up in constantly whether it’s habitual sin, laziness, lack of patience, and idolatry. I’m learning more and more of the cross truly taking my sin away and being forgiven time and time again. I’m learning as a Christian that I am a sinner every day and mess up in countless ways, but Jesus died exactly for that and that I don’t need to be perfect or improve myself, but it’s more about repenting to God and seeking Him every day to find my joy.
Bethany (MD) – praise team 2017-2019 , Sunday school bible study teacher 2017-2018
Christ Covenant church (MD) – praise team 2013-2017
McLean Korean Presbyterian Church (VA) – praise team 2007-2012
Older friends from church always checking up on me when I was in college and taking care of me when I was broke.
Living with siblings after college taught me to be a good listener and patience
My experiences with praise team from different churches allowing me to see how different people with different skill levels and personalities work together
Blindly listening to leaders without going back to the Bible to see what it says. No matter how good/nice something sounds, it’s important to get in the habit to see what the Bible says about the issue or topic.
Leaving my old church that I attended for 5 years, I felt much regret because I thought I was wrong for leaving. After the church disbanded a couple years later and reconciliation took place with other friends, I saw that God is truly in control at the end of the day.
Laziness at home while living with my parents showed me how I act in my personal time. It taught me that I need to step up and start being an obedient son and step up
