This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I often feel lead to offer someone a word of encouragement to lift their spirits. I am also put into positions a lot where people will ask me for advice on something they are struggling with and I am able to lift them up and show them a positive way forward from where they are at mentally/emotionally.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This has been a strength of mine since I was a small child. I have always enjoyed organization and efficiency. It makes me happy to figure out how things function, so that I can try and help them function even better. I enjoy supporting leaders who are overwhelmed with administrative tasks by taking things off of their plate that they do not “have” to be doing.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always enjoyed working with the youth, but this one has become stronger for me in the recent years. I feel God pulling me towards the youth

1. Serving. I have always had a servants heart and enjoyed acts of service for others

Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

[E]xperience

I was not raised in a Christian home. My grandad attended CLCBC and past away in 2002. He asked on his death bed that my family attends church. We started to do so against my will. I was 12. Eventually I attended Mania with Laura Kiemle and then Winter Extreme. I was taught about the miracles that God can perform in someone’s life and heart through a message one evening at Winter Extreme. The speakers child was a lot like mine. He had an alcoholic father and not the most ideal upbringing. But God saved his dad and turned him into a man that he greatly respects. I could not imagine my dad being someone I ever respected when I was listening to him. So I asked for Jesus to come into my heart. I went home and told my parents we needed to live differently. It took many years, but eventually HE changed my whole family. My dad has become one of the men I respect most in this world and am grateful to have him as a role model for my children.

My dad being transformed from Faith in Christ. It will always be the hard stop for me when I have doubts or questions. I just remember what I have seen Christ do and it is undeniable to me that our loving Father in Heaven exists and cares for me.

the very next was seeing Levi Tijerina on his knees at 13 years old, crying about his love for Christ. I had only seen men cry when they were drunk, so this was a big deal to me. Why was this young man ok with crying and what brought him to tears. To learn that it was his love for Christ was inspiring, I wanted to love something with such passion and joy it brought me to tears.

Marrying my second husband, Dan. After divorcing my first husband, who turned out to be a non-Christian. I did not think that God would redeem my story so quickly. I could not stay in my first marriage any longer and was content being alone and just raising my kids if that is what I needed to do. God brought me Dan less than a year later. He is my greatest gift and blessing from God.

Being raised with non-Christian parents, exposed to violence, drugs, porn, nudity, addiction, and abuse. I still have triggers today, but because of this I can relate to those in difficult home situations or who are living the lifestyle currently.

I had suspicions in 2014 that my daughter was being sexually abused by a family member. I was pregnant with my second child. It was extremely stressful trying to navigate this sensitive issue, not offend family if I was I wrong with my suspicions, but also advocate for my daughter. I miscarried early in my second trimester around the time I called DCFS on a family member. Our case was labeled as grooming. I had to put protections in place for my daughter, but still find a way to give this family member an opportunity for forgiveness.

There is a lot here that has made me able to connect with men and women in who have gone through any of the hard stuff above. Sexual abuse, miscarriage, and forgiveness to someone who has wronged you or someone you love in an unforgivable way.

Realizing that no one belongs on a pedestal. I had placed certain Christians in my life on a pedestal and when the time came for me to see them for the human sinner that they were, it shook my faith. But through this I learned more about the Grace and Mercy from Christ. “For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. ” This also helps me when I am evangelizing to unbelievers. We are all sinners. Belief in God does not cure us and make us “sinless”, but through the Holy Spirit we will grow and eventually “Sin less”
