#1 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have an urge to share what the Lord has revealed to me when I learn new truths of Scripture. I often formulate my mental understanding of Scripture as if I was going to teach or present it, often in ways that anticipate challenges, questions and/or criticism, ensuring accuracy and precision.

#2 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (62%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have strong feelings and emotions regarding people who are straying or are walking down a path that challenges Biblical truths. I also consider myself to have been given a degree of wisdom and understanding beyond my peers and have received comments from others confirming as much.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (59%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel the urge to share and to make disciples, especially when I am among searching unbelievers but I honestly don’t know how to appropriately do so. I lack evangelistic experience.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Born and raised in Church, experiences in college made me realize that I was living for myself and pursuing my own dreams, God was just a supporting and guarding figure, not my King. I realized that the greatest man I could be was the man God wanted me to be so I started to make him the center of my life and pursue him in all things.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

None.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting and marrying Miki

Joining a Christian men’s fraternity

Being raised by Mom and Mamma Lil

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Living through the consequences of the actions from the type of person that I was, searching for meaning and significance in sinful and worldly lifestyles.

Being an “outcast” in High School and being drawn to different things like books, fantasy, etc. for escapism.

My parents’ divorce and all the subsequent consequences
