This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Again, training and experience helps. However, While I have compassion I find it hard to tolerate those who will not help themselves. Oddly, this motivates others to work harder for themselves in my presence. Everyone needs to be encouraged and uplifted.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was saved at eight years due to an overwhelming sense that something was wrong on the inside. After skillful questioning by my parents and pastor who said they could clearly see God at work, I made an immediate profession and was baptized. I taught myself to read by reading the Bible and simply shared how to become a Christian with everyone and I mean everyone. A year after that, I surrendered to the mission field. I claim being filled with the Spirit when I was fifth teen. I knew and understood all the way what I was doing! Once I had a crisis of faith and someone told me I was going to hell. I felt so hopeless…right until I confessed myself right out of that. God as you know had NOT left me.
Castle Hills Bapt.Church, San Antonio, Ridglea West Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Jews For Jesus/Christians for Israel, San Antonio, Baruch H Shem, Dallas, Birmingham Baptist Assoc. in Birminham Alabama and various messianic groups. I consider my counseling position secular or private as ministry as well So, I have all totaled 4 years church staff, Christian counseling-8, Religious Education – 14-24, volunteer assignments – 14 years, Government and community – 10, and writing – 10
People groups I have worked with are Jews and Gentiles, Alabama Community Missions, Mexico Medical Missions, Criminal Justice Systems and agencies, All Pueblo Indian tribes of the US and Burmese ESL classes.
On church staffs I worked as a Children’s and Preschool Director, Christian Social Ministries in Alabama, Contract work with Government and agencies, Social Work Department at Seminary, Christian Medical Society for Mexico and probably more. Oh, my publishers are Xlibris and Thomas Nelson Zondervan Houses
I was fortunate to grow up at Castle Hills Baptist under the teaching of Jack Taylor and so many great teachers during the Great Awakening of the late 60-70’s. He made sure that monthly, I met for a Saturday with either Bertha Smith or Corrie Ten Boom, Alma Jackson – my Aunt was a missionary to Brazil. I learned hands on how to witness and share. In Jewish Evangelism we were the home missionaries stayed in in San Antonio. Arnold and Mary Ann Frutchenbaum of Ariel Ministries shaped my skills at Jewish Evangelism. I am blessed!
I have experience persecution and danger more than once. That will grow you in unimaginable ways. I have even had health issues, relationship loss. It is all good and only strengthens one’s resolve.
Others willing to invest in me made it possible for me to know and be bold enough to invest in others
I guess sometimes I trust too easily…have been burned more than once that way
While I grew up with money, in my adulthood, I have not been blessed to feel safe and secure finachially. I think many times I would want to go do this or that. Yet even, in such uncomfortable times, God purpose will prevail
I have been a victim of 4 major crimes. I’m ok but, with one, I occasionally struggle with a little PTSD. But, rarely do I have difficulty because God plan and my strong desire to serve walks me right out of it. The hardest part for me is to keep walking in the Spirit when I would rather pray for vengeance. God’s word is the Way
