#2 Gift, Serving (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am retired and have free time to serve where needed. I prefer being supportive to those who are better versed in the Bible. At my age, I should know more by heart, but I fall short and must ask God to give me words when needed.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My heart is not completely soft to those in need as I ask why when persons do not help themselves. I know that I have empathy and compassion for those in need.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into Christianity as my father was head deacon for many years. Unfortunately, I did not fully utilize my earlier years in the church but as I grew older I was drawn back into the church.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

LaPorte Community Church, LaPorte, TX – Youth Group co-leader for 3 years

Fisher Road Baptist Church, Baytown, TX – Financial committee, Ladies’ group, floral arrangements and any other duties where needed as it is a small church, for 6 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Family, being a wife and mother

Being successful in my job

Moving to this area

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Loss of loved ones

Working with non-believers or those who wanted you to think they were non-believers

Being hurt and carrying the anger for too long
