#1 Gift, Serving (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am introverted, and I prefer to work behind the scenes. I also enjoy helping people by doing tasks that others sometimes don’t care to do.

#2 Gift, Giving (53%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am starting to understand the level of importance of giving to the church, but also I have also felt compassion for people who are in need. The reason this scored lower for me is that I still need to work on deliberate and planned giving.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (43%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am generally a positive person. I tend to focus on encouraging others and pointing out the positives rather than the negatives.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up going to church, so I have always considered myself a Christian. I feel like I am really just starting to learn what it means to live a Christian life, however, and really know Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

West Locke Wesleyan Church, Williamston MI
I served in a very casual capacity, as needed, behind the scenes mostly. I have been a nursery worker, VBS teacher and helper, and helped with other things such as preparing meals for funeral luncheons.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a mom, which really pointed me in a positive direction in my life

Working with colleagues at work who push me to be better at what I do

Going to church with my Grandma…without this I’m not sure I would attend church today

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Living in borderline poverty as a child and as a young mother/wife

Struggling with anxiety and depression as well as having a child who has beed hospitalized and struggles with managing severe depression and anxiety

Bullying in school
