[E]xperience

I was born into a Christian family, so I remembering saying the prayer to become a follower of Jesus at a pretty young age (younger than five), since then I have gone to Church pretty regularly and read the Bible some but not enough. I long for a deeper relationship and connection with God, but other than feeling him every now and then, I’ve never really felt that. I saw angels at the age of 3 or 4, so that is a helpful memory to keep with me when I doubt. I also recently got baptized but since the baptism I have had a bit of a spiritual void.

I volunteered in my old Church’s nursery for several years as a kid, starting at age ten in 2010. I did this at The Village Chapel and was known as the “baby whisperer” 😉

I met a girl named Lauren Farkas who helped me become more open-minded. Through this relationship I learned a lot about the world’s social issues.

Before I started theater, I was really shy and had few friends. After joining theater I started to get really social and energetic and I now have amazing friends that I am endlessly grateful for. Theater may not have been the reason for that, but it’s possible.

I have cultivated irreplaceable relationships that have really helped me learn and grow as a person.

I have battled with mental illness for a very large portion of my life, but through this, I have developed a passion for mental illness, and because of my battle, I have been able to talk to and relate to others.

I have made some mistakes deciding to date before I was ready. It was through rushing into a relationship several times that I learned a very valuable lesson about dating.

I have experienced some trials with my friendships. But I have some of my closest friends today because I was hurt by another best friend. If that hadn’t happened and I had stayed in my old friend group, I wouldn’t be with my new amazing group of friends currently!
