[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love my business coaching practice. I believe sound business is a great way for people to create wealth while doing something they love and it’s my passion.

2. I love recreation and travel… enjoying God’s creation and having fun.

3. I love my family and have empathy for those who are going through family troubles. While I don’t feel as comfortable helping out others in their families, I believe I do have something to offer in this regard.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I like working with all kinds of people. Toddlers are my favorite as they have so much honesty and are so authentic. I also love working with men or women who desire to be leaders within their workplace or their homes.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I had grown up in the Catholic Church, then was brought to the Assembly of God church in my town where I was quite involved in my youth group. I was not engaged in church for a long time after going off to college. When my daughter was born, I decided to get heavily involved to better support what I believed and ended up quite engaged with our church, small groups and my wife and I were baptized. Not that sexy, but that’s my story.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Mountainview Community Church – 3-5 yr old Sunday School

Mountainview Community Church – Elder

Mountainview Community Church – Small Group Leader

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Mom taking me to Pentecostal Catholic Bible Studies and eventually Biblical church.

The birth of my daughter to force me to come up with answers.

Engagement with my Friday men’s group at Mountainview Church.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Poverty as a college student

Hard work harvesting fruit in the orchards near my in my youth

DUI as a college student that taught me humility and respect for the law
