Thank you Stephen Langhans for taking the SHAPE Assessment. Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I got assurance of salvation at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Ga. Pastor Mike Stephens was preaching on baptism by submersion and I realized that I was not really saved. I grew up Lutheran and never had a personal relationship with Christ. I accepted Jesus and got baptized in October of 2009.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Sunday School at Cloverleaf Baptist Church Cartersville(I filled in as teacher for 2 years)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I had a close relationship with my pastor at Cloverleaf and went through discipleship and read my bible from cover to cover in one year for the first time.

Married Lindsey Langhans and she has been a great influence on my life in every way.

The birth of my first child, Charlotte Rose Langhans, changed my perspective on life and truly made me more patient and caring.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Had to leave Cloverleaf because I did not hold the same beliefs about scripture, they were KJV only and very legalistic.

Door to door outreach. I felt pressured to go out and knock on peoples door early Saturday mornings.

My father re-married and his new wife and my family struggled to get along and this has caused relationship issues with my father. It is improving but still not great.
