S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Deborah Cochis for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

I try to keep a positive outlook on everything, and if I can pass that on to someone who is hurting, I will do my best to make them feel better. I hurts when you are always negative and there can most always be something positive about a negative, if you just look for the good in the situation.

1. I like to workout/walk. This gives me time to think, sit back and smell the roses. Whether indoors or outdoors, it gives me great joy to know that God has given me this body that can move, and I am so grateful for that. It is a time of reflection.
2. I like to read. Whether it is the Bible, or a novel, it gives me peace.
3. I like working puzzles. They are a challenge and I like challenges.
I like to work with people who don’t have to have the hand held all the time. I seem to get along with people a little older than me.
Not real sure how to answer this question, because not as involved in the church as I probably should be.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
