Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ into my life at a young age. On one night after several days of meetings, I felt lost and in need of Jesus in my life. I want forward in the alter call.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I was in a youth group choir at Grace Temple, Ft Worth. I also became a member of a leadership team and lead worship at a Christian coffee house / outreach during the Jesus Movement in Ft Worth.

The outreach eventually became a church., in which I was one of five founding elders. I served as an elder for about 10 years. During that time, I lead worship regularly.

I was on the elder board at CBCB church for several years, and continue to teach Bible studies in our Life Group.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Our marriage of over 40 years; being a father and grandfather.

Serving on the elder board at CBCB and earlier at Cornerstone.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Enduring a very difficult time in leaving a church in earlier days.

Being laid off from a company, after moving to San Antonio. Then trusting God to provide a new job and take care of our family.

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. For everyone in our family to know Christ and be living for Him.

4. To be able to retire from work, and be able to get involved in ministry around the church and community.

5. To see peace and unity in our country.
