Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

At 20 yrs old I applied for a job and back then they could put “religion” on the app. I replied, Christian, being broadminded. He asked what kinds of a Christian, and replied, born and raised a Methodist. The Holy Spirit hit me over the head and I struggled for several years not having any confirmation I would go to heaven if I died, and of course, I would not tell a soul, not even my husband what was going on. One day, out of the blue, his brother and SIL sat us down to listen to a tape on Revelations. I saw myself without the blood of Christ covering me, I jumped up, ran into the bathroom and saw a different person in the mirror and the instant understanding the Lord gave me of his Word was amazing. It was still rough for several years as Satan roared in my ear, you may be saved but your husband is going to hell. Anyway, after Stephanie was born, we both got into a church, were baptized, and the HS sucked the Word into my life – I think I had been starving Him.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Colfax WA, Community Bible Church, attended; Kenya Africa, hands on ministry for one year;

Almira WA, Community Bible Church, missions committee, kids Sunday school teacher, Woman’s Group helper.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Kenya and compassion for missionaries. Knowing the support they need either local or international.

The church in Almira when we first started attending was UCC, very liberal, which I didn’t even know existed back in early 80’s. The interim paster, suggested the congregation do a 101 course on the bible, and in the end they chose to not be UCC and kept the interim paster on for many years. It made me aware of so many things going on in churches, their statement of faith, which is so important, and what was starting to go on in our nation.

Trusting the peace of Christ in all situations.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce

Having a son who has rejected Christ

Growing old.
