S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Marjorie Comeau for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Giving (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It is a privilege to give. I often look for occasions to contribute to good causes especially my church, although I don’t have much. Giving money, my time my smile, encouraging words to others brings joy to my heart.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I would like to see the lost give their lives to Christ. Just like Jesus extended grace to me by having people over the years share the message of salvation with me, i want to do the same for others who don’t know Christ yet.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
If God wasn’t merciful, we would all cease to exist. Everyone should be given the opportunity to do better.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. When I go to a gas station serving hot meals, and a homeless person asks me for a dollar, I ask him/her: “would you like a hot meal instead?” The amazing expression of gratitude on his/her face brings great joy to my heart.

2. I love spending time with my two daughters. We enjoy each other’s company although they are young adults.

3. I like to listen to women facing difficulties in life, I pray and sympathize with them, then the Holy Spirit gives me comforting words to build them up.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I like to work with “real people”, with God-fearing converted sinners wholeheartedly searching for a deeper relationship with Christ.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I feel so blessed to be a part of TG’s great vision. I hope that the Lord will use me to bring glory and honor to His Holy Name.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian on February 19, 1996, after listening to the Gospel over a period of eight years. I was going to some hard times with my ex-husband, so Jesus rescued me. Praise God!!!!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Bethesda Kingdom Ministries, Miami FL, Sunday School teacher, choir member from 1997 to November 2005. The church no longer exists.

Stanton Memorial Baptist Church, Miami, FL
February 2006 to June 2014.
Sunday school teacher 2006- 2013
Sunday school secretary 2013-2014

House of the Living God, Miami, FL
June 2014 to June 2016
Sunday School teacher 2015-2016

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I just can’t think of any positive impact left on me by people.
I can only relate to the many positive experiences I’ve had while keeping my eyes on Jesus for every need in life.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being rejected from families and friends causes me to have great compassion for people facing rejection.

When I was 6 years old, I was bullied by a teacher in school. The following year, by divine intervention, the Lord sent another teacher who loved me so much that she healed my heart partly. Since then, started 7-years of age I gave myself the mission to protect kids being bullied with all the strength God gave me as a little girl up until now.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would create a foundation in the U.S. to empower single mothers because we deal with so much negativity out there, especially in the church.

4. I would travel the world to empower women facing rejection from society.

5. I would have a real estate investing company providing me with financial support so I could be in full-time ministry.
