Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Christian family. At age 12, I was baptized and became a member of my first church. I had periods of drought in my adult life where I explored the world and my beliefs. I went in and out of church during those times, but never lost faith in God and His ability to heal and redirect me. I have found a church now that I believe I have been led to so that I can continue my studies and become a more well-rounded servant of Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

McAllister Memorial Church, Covington, VA, 5 years
Choir member

Low Moor Presbyterian Church, Low Moor, VA 16 years
Sunday School Assistant, choir member, women’s ministry/outreach

Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, VA 7 years
Praise and worship team, women’s studies

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was an exchange student to Brazil at age 15.

I earned my M.A. Ed. in 2011 from GWU.

I have raised a compassionate child who is thoughtful and uses his gifts to help others.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

People close to me have struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction at different points in my life and relied on me for guidance as they struggled to beat it.

I have had significant monetary losses at times which resulted in starting completely over, one was due to the closure of a business and one was due to divorce.

The love of my life was imprisoned for 20 months for DUI. This changed our path forever and led to years of physical separation and time for healing, but it has made us stronger as a team because we have had to learn to trust and depend on God to get us through as one. I am hopeful that with obedience one day we will be provided the opportunity to marry and serve God as one, but for now, we just minister to those placed in our paths and believe that one day, it will all make sense.
