Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up Pentecostal, a very active child to parents who had leadership roles in the church. My personal relationship started from my beginning to have personal convictions of wanting, needing, and knowing there was more to a walk with GOD than just church participation. I had learned about GOD and his people in Sunday school and heard preaching after preaching. But it didn’t become as real to me until I learned how much I truly needed GOD. And finally understood that I was and would never be anything without Him. I wanted to feel Him and know Him for myself. I wanted to experience all the great things I had heard about or witnessed in service. Thus, as a child I went to the altar and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I wasn’t satisfied until I received His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Such a beautiful and innocent pursuit of a GOD that had become so real in a moment of time. That’s the night the earth seemed like it stood still. Praying and crying at the altar, but actually receiving the gift of His Holy Spirit in my bedroom. Then literally seeing a manifestation of white all around me. Unbelievable! Only a GOD thing…

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church | Lithonia, GA | Praise and Worship Dancer, Women on the Path Affiliate, International College of Excellence/Life Christian University Scholar | 13 years

Cathedral of Faith Ministries | Waycross, GA | Youth Choir Director, Dance Ministry Director, and Youth Auxillary Speaker | 5 years

First Born Church of the Living GOD, Inc. | Waycross, GA | Sunday School Secretary, Member of the Youth Choir, Member of the Youth Usherboard, and Member of the Praise Dance Team | 11 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Graduating from High School as the top Black Student with the highest GPA, in addition to the experience I gained in the number of clubs, community projects, and church activities I was a part of.

Getting married and becoming a mother changed my entire perspective on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Having to navigate through those roles, yet enjoying the excitement of the process, but working through the challenges also matured me on a totally different level.

Obtaining my Master of Arts in Teaching Degree after deciding to change my 9-year career to go back to school, as a full-time in-person student. With the help of GOD and my supportive husband, having to juggle being a wife, a mom, serving at church, and working a full-time job was not easy to say the least. This season of my life taught me what faith, perseverance, and complete trust in GOD can do.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having a stuttering complex as a child, but learning to overcome it; I have a special patience for kids and adults with similar conditions, and because of it I promote confidence in speaking and doing what others believe you can’t.

Because I had speech challenges as a child, I was picked on and sometimes the last one to be considered. With the help of GOD, I worked hard to earn good grades, respect, and acknowledgements from others. Conquering certain challenges, I am an advocate of what hard work can do, and thus I have a heart for underdogs per say–the misrepresented, the bullied, and overlooked people.

During my junior and senior years of college, I gave my time and attention to a gentleman that I knew was not for me, but yet was wooed by his intellect and knowledge of scripture. But learned over time the essence of what II Timothy 3:5 meant by “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” Bless GOD for saving me before things got too serious. Because of that experience I have empathy for people stuck in bitter or unfruitful relationships, knowing they need a way out, but more importantly needing the support and guidance to assist them in the process of leaving the relationship wholeheartedly and fully, not going back to it.
