Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
My father was manic bipolar, and our family suffered under his physical and verbal abuse, it was my mother that gave us the foundation of God’s word, taking us to church regularly. Married at 19, I began having grand mal seizures after the birth of my son, I was 20 years old. I took my abusive patterns from childhood and carried them into my marriage which created a tumultuous home, after becoming pregnant a second time at 23, I knew I had to make changes, we couldn’t afford to support the child we had let alone a secondly, we placed this second child for adoption. I began counseling after the adoption and began making changes to better my life. My marriage ended after 15 years, and began focusing on my career, I had become the Director of Patient Services at a very respected Sleep Center, when my son began his struggle with drugs, during this time I was also diagnosed with effusive pericarditis. If it weren’t for God I would have never survived this time in my life. This is truly when the Holy Spirit worked within me to strengthen my relationship with God. Fast forward to today, and at 50 yo I will be getting a pacemaker due to the damage caused by my chronic health condition. But through this all I am optimistic and hopeful for God continues to guide me and uses me in my nee role as Hospice Care Consultant to help others.
