S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Stacy Morse for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Supporting trafficking ministries and ministries that bring freedom and healing to women who have been taken advantage of and do not know their worth in Christ, sponsoring kids across the globe, and being able to financially support or meet needs about which God makes me aware.

2. Counseling and loving on women considering abortion or post-abortive moms.

3. Mentoring young women and showing them that God is more than enough and He alone can be their security, contentment and satisfaction. Everything and everyone else will eventually disappoint. He alone is always faithful and can be trusted!

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Women in college or in their 20’s or 30’s, especially single women.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in a church and had a lot of head knowledge. Was baptized at 6 because my sisters did it. Did not have a relationship with Christ till I was invited by friends to their youth group and saw in them a peace and joy that I did not have. Surrendered my life to Christ at age 16 and was baptized again.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Getting to go on so many mission trips to third world countries. Seeing what true poverty and need is and realizing that even the poorest person in the USA is still richer than most of the rest of the world.

Getting to walk with Christ as a single woman for most of my adult life. Getting to know Him as Husband, Provider, Caregiver, and Sustainer is one of the greatest blessings/gifts God has given me.

Seeing my faith become sight when God gave me my first godly relationship, my husband at 40 years old. We prayed that I would be able to walk down the aisle though I am in a wheelchair and despite being in the hospital the day before my wedding, He enabled me to walk down the aisle.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My dad leaving us when I was 6. It really became a positive because God drew me to Himself and has been my standard of a true Father and Husband. He has never failed me.

Being diagnosed with MS at 24 and the subsequent limitations of such. God has turned every bit of that into good and for His glory so that’s a huge part of my testimony and makes me very approachable and relatable to my patients and anyone else that can’t see God’s goodness and faithfulness in their current situation.

Situations I got myself into as a teenager and young adult when I didn’t realize who I am in Christ and that my security and identity is in Christ and not in what I do or in what anyone including myself thinks of me. God not only rescued me from such but has given me a passion for showing young women with the same insecurity their worth is also in Christ alone.
