Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Raised going to church but did not buy in until 10th grade. Sitting in church I decided that I was no longer going to church. That night I arrogantly challenged God to show me that He was real. My brothers were part of the Jesus Movement and they took their Bibles everywhere. So I decided that I would take my Bible to school the next day. I read 2 Timothy before school and God opened my eyes to see the wonder of His Word. I placed my faith in Christ that day and have followed Him since.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Youth Ministry intern; Canoga Baptist; 1972-74
Youth Ministry volunteer; Whittier Hills, Kingsburg EV Free, Bethany, PazNaz; 1974-2005

Various church and Christian school boards 1980-present
Small group leader and TL with BSF 2002 – 2016

Leader of Christian Sports Ministry 1992-present

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Death of my brother and first discipler, 1969, 9 months after his lifestyle led me to Christ

Dating and marrying Tina while attending Biola Univ 1970-1976

Leaving Real Estate and leading a Christian Ministry 1992-present
Teaching the Young Adult Bible Study with BSF 2008-2014

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Watching our adult child wander from a vibrant faith for about 10 years. This has increased our consistent prayer and given us compassion for other families with prodigals

My dad’s car accident and death in 2002 took one of my biggest prayer warriors to heaven. It also caused me to pray for regularly for the lost people in my life.

The ups and downs of my income while in real estate grew my faith in God to provide for us.
