Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to church w/my grandparents anytime possible growing up, excepted Christ w/my grandmother at age 15 but met Jesus as my personal Savior and Friend at age 27.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

ReEngage Leader, Small Group Leader
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Liberty MO 2 yrs

Trek Leader-Middle School, Co Director of Women’s Ministry, City Union Mission Thursday night church
Northwest Bible Church, Kansas City, MO 8 yrs

Sunday school-elementary & Middle School, children’s ministry team, St Mary’s Kitchen
Gashland Presbyterian Church Kansas City, MO 11 yrs

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Our first community group experience taught us the importance of being obedient to God and taught us to trust Him. Because of the teaching there we have stepped out in faith in being involved in the marriage ministry & leading our own community group.

Sharing my testimony at City Union Mission showed me that God can take our worst experiences and use them to Glorify Him!

Watching my Grandparents growing up and knowing when I got married I wanted what they had-the only difference I saw was Christ so it started me on a wonderful Journey to meet Him

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was raped in my 20’s and have struggled with trust issues. That experience and the help I received in my 30’s to finally cope with it has brought me to a place of peace and an ability to share God’s grace and Hope!!!

I grew up in an abusive home and God was not discussed. My grandparents would take me to church and showed me how I can reach others who have not grown up in a church home. God is always giving opportunities to get to know Him.

My husband and I are retired military so we went through a lot of deployments in our marriage and the separations we handled great, but when he would come home we would struggle and I had to learn to allow him back in to the “family” it’s amazing how hard that is.
