Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

In my teens but fell away for a number of years from pain and anger in my life. Came back after trying to deal with issues on my own.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Children’s choir 3 yrs, VBS Kitchen worker 5 yrs, WM participant 16 yrs, OWLS Older Wiser Learned Seniors 2 yrs, Olathe Christian Church, Olathe, KS

Sarasota CC, Women’s Ministry 5 yrs, feeding & collecting personal hygiene items for homeless, Seniors group 1 yr., Grief Share facilitator 1 yr.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My Grandma was a faithful Baptist all her life and would take me for the weekend and always took me to church. She lived to be a 101 and I miss her.

I was reminded by my cousins about family and God long after my parents passed.

Finding Olathe Christian Church (a God thing) and feeling part of that very strong Women’s group for so many years.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Lost my parents & Niece in an auto accident when I was 24. Lost my brother in a motorcycle accident after that.

Was in the Military for 2 years and I have PTSD and toxic chemical poisoning. Health and anger issues I am still dealing with.

Was in an abusive marriage and got divorced.
