S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Shannon Vinter for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t usually like to be the leader or decision maker, but I’m happy to help with the skills and knowledge that I have. I like support roles. As an usher, I’m not always outgoing with strangers, but I really enjoy greeting people I know. I do challenge myself to sit with someone who is alone (church meals) to get to know others.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Repeat above, I like support roles and being helpful. Sometimes have been taken advantage of. I like planning and organizing so things flow in an effective and efficient order. Sometimes that takes a few tries!!
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I tithe and give regularly to the church. Beyond that, I feel I’m the most generous when I’m in Cuba and I give big tips and leave clothing and supplies for the people there. Here at home, on occasion, I have given specific things to others – helped a student with $200 for new glasses, given children’s advil to a co-worker.
[H]eart
1. spend one-on-one time with people
2. learn – currently Spanish and whatever is offered in Tuesday night sessions through church
3. share what I’ve learned – when I learn a new way to do things in our programs at work, I like to show it to someone else
Adults, people who like to learn
What concerns me most these days is people who have grown up in the church, likely even having been saved and baptized, then walking away from church attendance and faith.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
