S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Taylor Sykes for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to encourage people and push them into the direction of their desires (depending on the desire, of course). I believe that people need to be constantly reminded of their worth and above all else their worth in God’s eyes because dealing with the world tends to taint our view and perception of who we are and created to be.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
No one in this life is perfect or has lead a perfect life, so with that being said being understanding is essential to growth. Everyone needs someone to understand them and to remind them to keep going in spite of downfalls.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love learning and therefore I thoroughly enjoy sharing my experiences with others. I believe that growing should always be continual and I delight in seeing others expand themselves.
[H]eart
1. My heart beats for those who have fallen and seek refreshment in the spirit. I enjoy counseling others over everyday issues or profound ones and helping to find solutions.
2. I passionately am drawn to dancing, singing, acting, and writing.
3. People who “don’t look like Christians.” I like to draw people in who have condemned by judgmental and/hypocritical Christians and reaffirm that God does love all of us.
Honestly, I just love people and everyone provides a different outlook on life.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
Long story short, my mother passed away when I was 7 and that created a large void in my life. I continued trying to fill said void with whatever would fit (academics, boys/men, food, the list continues). Eventually around age 14, I was formerly introduced to the church and bounced around for a few years. I had a few larger life mishaps occur which lead to me to living with my current roommate (one of my largest blessings) which brought me to Diverse City.
I once engaged with a woman who truly spirit filled and was an amazing example that living by the spirit was possible.
God linked me up with my roommate who has brought me home.
I’ve just been blessed to meet a lot of people who have exposed to me to so many great opportunities.
My mother passed away when I was 7 years old. I understand what it’s like to have an identity crisis and to not know where you fit in.
My father was present physically, but lacked and never sought out how to go about parenting which left me most of the time having to figure life out on my own.
I have an addicting personality which has had me addicted to many things in life.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would create an organized show with up and coming talents to help people get their names out there. It would be a concise written piece that would collectively incorporate everyone, who was involved, talents.
4. Continually going to school just because I love to learn.
5. Work on fostering and expanding my talents further.
