S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Tanya Brusewitz for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Prophecy (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have been given Discernment. I operate in it in different areas of my life. It gets crazy having to always separate the good from the bad, light from darkness, dull and lifeless in Christ from on fire and alive for Christ. I get tired from this all day long occurrences.

#2 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to give others knowledge and the truth. Not too good at lying to people. I just want others to use the beautiful mind HE gave them and discover new things and NEVER take things at face value. I want people to learn skills that will help them through life. That’s what God’s word does for them.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
It doesn’t matter whereI am, if the need arises to speak out, I usually do.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Read my Bible

2. Smile

3. Laugh

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

As a nurse, I work with people from all walks of life. Teaching moments can be found in them all. As I get older, I do find kids a little stressing. It could be the parents and their lack in their parenting job.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

The only ministry that I seem to have a deep interest is women not having opportunities to preach when they have a passion to do it because usually men are running that show. I do recall Deborah being a judge in Israel.

Special talents/skills that I have:

Singing and a comedic spirit

I have taught a class or seminar on:

I feel my most valuable personal asset is:

I am real. I don’t have time to be fake. Christianity has been presenting that style for awhile and I feel it needs to be truly shown for how it really is. It’s not pretty and rosy all the time.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I am a question person. God drew me to Him by posing me with a question in Walmart. “Do you have questions about your life, family or your future? If so, the Bible is for you.”

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Children’s leader for 4 yrs, and a women’s group leader for 3-4 months, and prayer team for BSF night class

CIR ( Christians in Recovery ) Staples Alliance Church for 6 months assisting Al Forcier.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Hard living, so I know what it truly means for Jesus to be my Savior.

Going through nursing school.

Being raised by a strong single mother

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Hard living and being raised by a single mother.

Being sometimes in the minority. I went to white schools my whole life as a kid.
