S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Tehra Boyce for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
theres so many young adults who dont know God and no one wil take the time to help them learn who really is, i learned on my own due to my life situations and i feel since i am closer to them i can help them and bring them to church like ive done with some friends.

#2 Gift, Giving (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Growing up ive watched my daddy give his last to everyone and i didnt understand why becuase they didnt do the same for him, as i grew older i realized that i am the same way ive given my last to others without expecting anything in return, its just a natural habit for me. 2Chorinthians 9:7 says God loves a cheerful giver.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
throughout my life and hard times some showed me mercy and helped me then i remember those who didnt and just wanted to put me down and were happy to see me hurt. I didnt like that so id never wish that for anyone.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I became a Christian when life got really touch and i had no one to turn to but God. Most of all how he just kept Blessing me, and saving me even when i didnt deserve being saved. when i was 17 years old i was homeless living house to house, i was in an abusive relationship with the first guy i decided to trust my heart with, my car got shot up while i was parked inside, and the fear of losing my dad due to his health. Im still alive today, married with a child, and not homeless anymore.
