S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Teresa for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I do not entirely agree with the results.
Nevertheless, giving is one of the gifts God has given. I am grateful to Jesus Christ for His saving grace and welcome the Holy Spirit’s Lordship over my life. I live a surrendered life. I depend on the Spirit of God to guide every area of life – character moulding, money management, time, relationships, goals, ministry, activities etc. Since Jesus is sacrificial, as His daughter, I follow.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I should have landed up in hell, but Jesus stood between hell and me. Jesus gave me life when there was none. As such, my heart longs for others not to end up in hell. I also yearn for people to have authentic relationships with Jesus, live selflessly surrendered to His Spirit and endeavour to fulfil God’s purpose until their final breath.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Many prophets have called me a prophet to the nations. I have never liked this role. Look into the Bible – prophets suffer. They are constantly misunderstood and persecuted.
I think for me, this gift may work best together with encouragement and teaching. I do not enjoy criticising people or tearing others down. I try to do to others what I would like done to me. Many people are already hurting inside. They need love, support and encouragement. If God wishes to bring correction, He provides the message. If God instructs me to deliver such mail, I undergo a heart-check with the Holy Spirit first so that the message will go forth with love in purity. However, messages which do not involve correction are easy to speak forth. I am learning, and the Holy Spirit is an excellent teacher.

1. I love interacting with Jesus and hearing His thoughts. If I’m not bonding enough with the Lord, my flesh gets very difficult to handle.
2. I enjoy having honest and transparent talks with my inner circle friends. I’m not an extrovert and I don’t need to be popular. But I believe that healthy relationships are vital. Jesus is also their first love, and they also enjoy serving His purpose. We have earned each others’ trust.
3. I enjoy discovering the new. For example, when the Holy Spirit reveals a Biblical truth, I get excited and look for the practical application. After that, I will share with friends and disciples and help them practice the application too. Besides that, since discovering the skill of writing Hebraic poetry, I’ve been developing this too.
I do not have a particular group.
My concern – we need to build healthy relationships amongst church folks and raise authentic Christians. I feel we must create a safe environment where people can be vulnerable but safe to express contrary opinions without harsh criticism.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was suicidal, but Jesus stopped it. Jesus poured His love into my whole being that night. For the first time in my life, I felt loved. I discovered that I deserve to be loved and am worthy of care. That happened 22 years ago. My love relationship with Jesus blossomed exponentially quickly. I responded to God’s call to resign from secular work, and the Holy Spirit instructed me to give away all my assets – money, home, car, jewellery, etc. Father God spoke this into my heart -“whatever my needs are, bring them to Him and trust Him to provide”.
Father God’s been healing my past and training me in various ministry areas. I am now in Perth because the Holy Spirit asked me to come. He did not tell me beforehand that He planned to make me a Bible College student. I have just completed the Masters in MInistry (major – Christian Studies). I am now waiting for the Lord to reveal the next.
I was serving in the Light of Christ Church in KL before coming to Perth. I declined the church’s offer to provide an allowance. I was in leadership and mentored believers from different maturity levels. We developed healthy relationships and enjoyed community living. We were very much involved in each others’ lives. The Holy Spirit also led me to reach out to people beyond this Church’s parameters. I evangelised to foreign workers (unbelievers) and conducted Bible studies with them. The Lord also sent me to other Christians who needed help.
After I resigned, the Holy Spirit instructed me to attend the School of Acts (Ps Raymond Mooi). It was 6 months of challenges and fun. The Lord deepened my love and bond with Him here.
I cancelled my wedding. But it is the 2nd best decision made in my life! The Holy Spirit revealed that my ex-fiance could not accept my closeness with Jesus. He is a PK, but he was a complacent Christian who enjoyed the world’s glamour more than Jesus. We were unequally yoked.
It might sound strange to you, but having no savings and no income liberated me. When I first obeyed the Lord to sell my assets and give away all finances, I was petrified. However, God changed my heart. I am free! When the money comes (small or large amounts), I commit all of it to Jesus and depend on God for guidance – whom to share it with and how to use it.
I was a rejected and abused child. I hated my childhood. However, Jesus healed me progressively and restored the relationship between my parents and me. My parents and I had wonderful times together for a few years before they departed to heaven. God can restore anything!
As such, I am passionate about healing hearts and restoring family relationships. The Lord’s been building me up. God sends me to people, and the Holy Spirit and I synergize to heal wounded hearts and souls.
I was a sickly child from birth until adulthood. The sicknesses were strange and persistent. The doctors were perplexed and sent me for numerous medical tests. I lived on medication more than food. I could not eat lollies or take any cold liquids like my siblings. I often had high fevers until comatose. A cold drink could cause my body to react severely. Several times, the doctors informed the family to expect death. I was miserable. Although my family were not Christians and consulted pagan gods, the Lord Jesus preserved my life and sent Christians relatives to my parents. Jesus healed me each time miraculously. But the sicknesses kept returning and did not stop until Jesus healed me supernaturally when I obeyed Him in resigning from secular work. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit has shown me that only GOD knows the cause of all sicknesses. I feel the urgency to rely on Him to heal people from bizarre illnesses.
I was sexually assaulted at 11 years old. My parents never knew about it. The 2 aunties who were looking after me worsened my trauma by behaving as if it never happened. They also did not utter a word to my parents or anyone else about it. I was a little girl. I did not know how to process trauma and intense pain. As a result, my mind ‘locked away’ the incident as if it never happened.
At the School of Acts 20 years later, several ministers had said I was raped when little. I rejected their assertions but sought Father God for clarification. The Lord did not say anything until years later. To make a long story short, the final stage of my healing from that traumatic incident was 4 years ago. There is no destruction that Jesus cannot undo. Jesus is the Healer and Restorer! I believe that Father God is restoring to me more than the devil has destroyed!
The Holy Spirit has led me to minister effectively to girls and ladies who were sexually violated. Sexual violation drives the victim to suicide and imprisons them to live destructive lifestyles. However, there is nothing that Jesus cannot heal and restore to broken lives. God is absolutely trustworthy and reliable to execute justice!
