[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I absolutely LOVE to go by myself to a quiet place and read.

2. I find joy in having deep, meaningful conversation with others where I get to ask lots of probing questions.

3. I love to find worship songs that speak Biblical truth.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love to work with anyone, especially those younger than me (birth to 3rd grade) and older generations (50s and beyond). However, I feel like I have a special place in my heart for the outcasts or the ones labeled as “different.”

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I feel excited, passionate, and concerned with corporate worship (particularly the musical aspect), the outcasted population (and what to do with these people to make them feel welcomed and wanted), local outreach within a community to effectively grow a church, and DEFINITELY shepherding and discipleship between two believers (not just a once a week thing-but living everyday life with another believer… walking step-by-step together)!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Before God’s transformative power in my life, I grew up in a family where church was not a priority and Christ and His endurance on the cross was not a topic of discussion in my household. I went to church camp, Brookhill Ranch, from 2nd to 9th grade where I repeatedly prayed the sinner’s prayer every summer after viewing a scene of the crucifixion. I was afraid of Hell. I would go back home and not have a firm home rooted in Christ. In 10th grade I became a camp counselor at Brookhill Ranch and realized my true need for Christ as little children asked for MY help in leading them to God. What I feel to be my true transformation came my freshman year of college in 2016 when I attended only ONE CRU event at UCA. Whether I was saved that night or many years ago at Brookhill Ranch, I cannot be certain, but from then on out my life began to be made new. I realized my personal need for Christ and His redemptive power. After the conversion, I began faithfully attending Fellowship Bible Church in Russellville on Sundays and women’s Bible study on Thursday nights, and the Lord has used me in many ways to share the good news of Jesus Christ to others at UCA, my hometown, and even Bogota, Columbia.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Womens Bible Study at FBCR helped me to dig deep into Scripture for the first time in my entire life!

Majoring in music and being in an art building gave me a lot of confidence to be around unbelievers and to share and prope with deep questions.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would foster children.

4. I would lead in some type of ministry.

5. I would start some type of outreach program for the outcasts of society.
