Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I accepted Christ as my LORD and Savior at the age of 8. I grew up in a Christian home.
I was in the choir growing up at Emmanuel Baptist in DC (4ish yrs) and in the choir and usher at Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist in Chatham, VA (2 yrs).
At Tabernacle Baptist church in Petersburg, VA, I was a co-teacher to and 4 yr olds (1ish yr).
I was the WOW Moms overseer at Mt Gilead for 5ish years and I helped out at the desk in Admin during the day (8ish years).
I grew up in a good Christian home which I found out later was a rarity so I one of those who had many good memories. I was able to take several trips with family including a cross country trip and CA from MD. I’ve gotten to see God’s world for myself. I saw that all things were possible.
My mother taught us to know God. She also started to read the Bible all the way through, I was the oldest so I was the one she shared with daily what she was learning so I had a lot of Biblical knowledge before going to college. Excellence was expected so I graduated from college being 1st in my school of Agriculture and Applied Science. With God, I knew that I could do anything.
Aug 13, 2021 after dropping off the last of 7 children child off to college, I retired from mothering. God had given me this mandated that I knew I was not equipped for nor wanted to do but only with His direction, correction and empowerment, we have had all children to get to college on the highest scholarships available at the university. 4 were offered full ride scholarships and the other 3 had Presidential scholarships. Not only have they been successful academically but they are in a weekly zoom Bible study with their spouses continuing to grow spiritually.
After my freshman year, I got married and had our 1st child. After the 2nd child and graduating with the highest honors , God told me that I was to be fruitful and multiply and be a keeper at home. I cried because I had a degree in Animal science and I did not have any interest in that call. I had been taught to obey so I obeyed dealing with one day at a time but God did many miracles along the way resulting in 7 children and 12 grandchild. I can relate to other women who understand their call as married women and can use practical ways to raise children.
I got married at 18 and my husband was 19. We were young and went through A LOT of ups and downs. He said he was a Christian but it was only in word. So I had to learn how to live as a believing wife and mother. God has kept the marriage, the children, and me. I have a strong compassion for women who are dealing with the struggles of marriage.
