Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I brother came home from the service and he was reading the Bible to me and said there’s a movie that’s playing in the church I should go to. It was cool once to die. I watched that movie and got saved under it at 20 years old and now I’m 61 and I’ve been serving God ever since.
I have always helped out when my kids were in very young age at Hyde Park Baptist Church but I was always just a floater meaning I helped out when they had classes like vacation Bible school Sunday schools that was many many years ago. My husband and I did a homeless ministry every three months from our church and then we did a nursing home ministry on our own without kids now I am a grandma. We went to the same church for about 24 years. It’s on 45th St. in Austin.
I had amazing high school teachers one particular one was Mr.Bagnoli he knew I had a really hard time in school, and he told me to meet him and study hall and a cafeteria. When everybody ate lunch he sat with me and help me to comprehend what I was reading. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve never graduated. Then when I did graduate is later when I got married, my husband,Tom and I used to go to New York and visit him and his wife and go to real Italian restaurant to have pizza. We kept in touch with them all the time until my husband died, and then I kept in touch a little bit with them every once in a while.
My mom had to work full-time and there was a little lady across the street named Ruth. She pretty much raised us because my mom had to work all the time and she plays a big part of why I love the elderly today and we got older like teams, my grandmother live with us And she played cards stuff like that and games. That’s where my love had begun. Tom and I were big boardgames and did that with our kids and grandkids that’s why I like to have once a month game night at church.
When I look back at life, I see the people that have helped me along the way and Tom my husband that died in 2001 was my spiritual leader. He knew the Bible like I never know anybody to know the Bible the way he did.
When I was in junior high school, we had to learn how to live and survive so learning wasn’t part of that experience. Unfortunately, I still from this day have a hard time with comprehension when I read.
We have seven people in my family and it was pretty chaotic up. My mom got married very young. She was 16 to my father who did not raise me by the time she was 28 she had me and then came my younger sister and my younger brother that made 7 of us
That’s why I only had two kids
