Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

i remember even as a child i would wake up in the middle of the night to read my bible by candlelight… i never got far and didnt understand, but the desire was always there. God saved me many times throughout my life, but it wasn’t until my nephew was being baptized on easter 2013 and i went to church that day that things really started to change. the sermon series was “what if you could have the life God wanted you to have” i ended up going back and 3 sermons later was “kitchen cabinets” and keeping god out of certain areas of life…. i prayed that day for him to open all y drawers and cabinets and enter and change anything he wanted…. its been chaos ever since, but God is in control so I’m just along for the ride 😉

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

my grandmother… church, goodness, and love

experiencing the goodness and caring of others

always watching my mother put morals, ethics, and integrity above all else

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

a deadbeat dad

experiencing loss and death starting at a very early age

being shunned, deemed unimportant, having to grow up too soon, and at times feeling abandoned
