Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I gave my life to Christ at a high school extra-curricular fellowship on a friday afternoon in 2003, I can\’t really remember the message but i remember that i realized in that moment that I haven’t been living right and i needed a change of heart.
Multimedia -RCCG, City Of Goshen, Onike, Lagos. 2014-2018.
Circa 2011, I had an accommodation problem along with a family friend, he knew this man who was married with a kid took us in, the man didn’t really know me. The man took us in and we loved with him for over a year and he took care of our needs all that period.
One fateful day, during my childhood, somewhere between ages 7 and 9, my big sister lighted a a coil (an insecticide with a fragrance) and hung it to the ceiling of the room we share with our other siblings.
In the middle of the night, I felt a nudge to roll away from where I was sleeping, mind you, I was deeply. Moments later (I don’t know how long due to sleep), I rolled and away and only a second after that, the ceiling structure fell right where I was sleeping. Up till now, I don’t know what gave me that nudge. I just know that I’m very grateful for it.
Surviving a poisoning by my stepmother.
Failure to graduate from the University after putting in 8 years of my life.
Not maintaining contact with my Dad before he died, I wasn’t living with him at the time but he was in the hospital for about a week very close to where I was and I failed to go see him. I wish we had that last conversation and I was not able to show him I love him. I sometimes wonder what he must have thought about me.
Hurting a lady that loved me, I still feel very bad whenever I think about it, hoping she’s good now.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Winning at least a soul for Christ before my time on eatg is done.
4. Touching lives, not the type that earns me spotlight but actually having positive impact on people’s lives.
5. Becoming a problem solver in my field of endeavor, not to just be consumer/end user.
