S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Tori Dearden for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always naturally been able to encourage people with whatever they were going through. I think it is because God has gifted me with being able to see the bigger picture, and a larger perspective than a lot of people my age have.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I think that I see how selfless my mom and dad have been to all the people they love and don’t love in their lives. I think God granted me an easier childhood and upbringing so I would have the strength and opportunity to give back.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always been a natural born leader, and can naturally see how logistics should work out and what the best courses of action are.
[H]eart
1. Serving other people in my home, or orchestrating events where people can be together and enjoy fellowship.
2. Experiencing the natural world with other people and figuring out any problems that arise with others.
3. Counseling people who want help and want direction.
I love to work with high school students because I believe they are capable of so much. However, I think I work best with people between the ages of 22-32. For some reason, I find it easiest to work with this age range.
The mission ministry and high school ministry excites me the most. I believe these are two areas that are key for churches. The mission ministry because I know my heart’s passions lie with people of other countries and from around the world. The high school ministry because I know that the students are responsible enough to have more responsibility and have the real opportunity to make big differences.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I was 15, brokenhearted, and lost. I discovered a community I did not think existed, yet knew that that is where I belonged. God’s love and his love for me gave context to a lot of things in my life and in myself I did not understand. He continues to baffle me with his goodness.
Crossroads Community Church 2010-present. Started by helping out with the 2-3 year olds, now a student intern.
