#1 Gift, Administration (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am thoughtful, methodical, strategic, and organized in my planning. Critical thinking, analyzation, and mobilizing individuals to accomplish a task are my strengths. I am gifted to take in data/information and organize it in such a way it makes sense to those who have to read it and act upon it. I excel in interpreting a project or vision and bringing it to life from concept to completion with appropriate timelines.

#2 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a BIG HEART that often breaks for the low in spirit, lost, and suffering. I feel I have this gift to lead, guide, and direct groups of people to point them to Jesus Christ. Shepherding is caring for the well being of others.

#3 Gift, Teaching (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Training, teaching, and equipping others comes natural for me. I love teaching and making difficult concepts simple for all to understand. One of my favorite quotes says “When you get, GIVE. and When you learn, TEACH. Teaching is a way that I GIVE to others what I learned and help them grow.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Reading the Bible and Personal Self Development books

2. Traveling the world and spending quality time with my family

3. Setting and achieving Goals

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Intercessors of all age groups. I love to work with people who SEEK God in prayer and stand in for others.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Mental/Emotional Health ministries are close to my heart. I believe this is a topic often overlooked in the African American Churches/community that if we shine light on it, provide appropriate resources, and address many people would experience LIBERTY and Freedom. This is why recovery ministries excite me.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church and accepted Christ as a teenager in youth church/baptized in 1997. However I became a devote follower of Christ and got to really now him for myself in 2009. I hit a very dark time in my life relationally, professionally, and came to a place where I needed God in a desperate way. That was the year I surrendered my life to Christ for myself.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Higher Dimension Church Houston Tx – Intercessory Prayer, Minister in Training, New Members Orientation Teacher, Discipleship Teacher, Young Adult Grow Leader

St. Agnes Baptist Church Houston Texas – Youth Ministry, Youth Marching DrillTeam, Youth Choir, and Adult Mass Choir.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Starting a direct sales business at the age of 25. I made some invaluable relationships that shaped my mentality and groomed me success.

Marrying close friend and business partner Deondria and becoming a father all in one year at the age of 28.

Going to College for Business Management / Marketing and becoming a part of a great fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi. This initiation process taught me MANY invaluable principles that I still live by today.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Struggled financially after college, lights disconnected, sold clothes to thrift stores to get by, evicted, and vehicle repossessed. These experiences has created a GREAT COMPASSION for others who go through similar circumstances and creates A BURNING DESIRE within me for people to experience financial freedom and break the chains of mediocrity.

I have experienced Anxiety and Depression in my early 20’s that lead to me having to take medication to cope. That was the darkest time of my life and through Gods grace I has delivered from anti-depressants for over 9 years. That experience has created such a COMPASSION for people who struggle with mental / emotional illnesses that Ive dedicated my life to ministering to this particular group of people. Unless you have walk that walk its hard to relate to the depth of these peoples struggle and my past experience allows me to empathize and encourage from a PLACE OF POWER.

I have personally experienced how homosexuality can have direct impacts on families. When my sibling came to us it devastated our family and for years created separation and isolation. Because I have experienced the impacts it can have on families I have a great compassion for it. Families need to know how to navigate this in love and my heart goes out to all families on this journey.
