This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I grew up in the church, often visiting with the elderly, and serving in food/clothing pantry, outreach projects, and homeless centers. I am happy to talk about my faith with others in small groups or one-to-one. I feel strongly that serving and demonstrating God’s love is teaching who Jesus is and these actions open hearts to spiritual teaching.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy mentoring and lifting up people by walking beside them individually, not standing over them and condemning. I do not hesitate to point out how they went astray or their words and actions that led them to their current situation, but I lead with simple steps that will direct them on the path of spiritual and emotion well-being. Gentleness is one of my gifts.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I come from humble beginnings, have made numerous mistakes, and accept people as they are because their soul is more important than their physical history, presence, and situation.

[H]eart

1. Ministering to the spiritual needs through physical/emotional needs of others

2. Creating a world with less strife and angst so that it is ready to hear God’s word.

3. Loving my brothers and sisters in Christ through deeds.

Middle aged to older adults, lower income, downtrodden, undereducated.

Change within churches who do not welcome or allow people of different walks of life in their church or Sunday school classes. For example, as a single adult I have often felt there wasn’t a place for me in small groups or Sunday school classes. Many churches do not welcome homeless, disabled, LGBTQ, or criminals in services or gatherings. Christ ate with sinners of all kinds and ministered to them. How will individuals receive Christ if they are rejected by the church? 1 Kings 8:50 “And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their captors to show them mercy” Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. This does not mean that we should accept their sin. If we invite them in, show them God’s endless love, teach them the word, pray for them, and let God handle the rest. Instead many churches reject them at the door. How will they come to know God if Christian’s do not demonstrate God’s mercy?

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

I grew up in the church and don’t remember a time I was not a believer. I accepted Christ while attending a Sunday evening study with a friend.

Christ Community Church Single Adult Ministry 2003-2007 (Tucson)

Finding the best Christian friends in the Singles ministry at CCC.

Moving to Arizona allowed me to be my true self without constraint.

Meeting people from different backgrounds through workplaces has opened my eyes about how other people live.

My childhood abuse and victim of violence.

My father was a narcissist, manipulator, and abuser.

Workplace stress has helped me realize what is most important about the work I choose to do – serving God by serving others.
