This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have experienced much suffering, trauma and pain in my life, but God has used it all to grow me in to who I am today. I have a heart for the hurting, the unloved, those who aren’t sure God is with them. I have often been told I know just what to say and when to say it. I love people because Jesus loves me. I want to speak and share my story with others so they can understand just how much they are loved. I want to come along side the hurting and confused and help them heal their heart and experience the transforming love of Jesus. But first we have to hear their hurts, to acknowledge their pain and suffering, so they know they matter.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My love of Jesus is meant to be shared. My life was redeemed from the pit and I love to share my story with others so they can know how much our Father loves them.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to read and study, and share what I have learned with others. I have a desire to help others learn to love the scriptures and to understand them in a way that makes sense in their life. Teaching others to love Jesus and to help others learn to share that with the people in their life is something that has long been a dream of mine.

1. Spend time with others talking and studying the Bible, praying together and experincing the Holy Spirit in our lives.
2. Praying for those in pain, physical or emotional or spiritual, being with them in their hurt and bringing the Spirit into the situation through prayer.
3. I love to share and teach others, but it starts for me just talking about what Jesus has done for me and how that has changed my life.
I love adults, college age and up, I have had a heart for Women’s Ministry for many years, as well as teaching other adults to love Jesus and understand how much He loves them.
I have prayed and feel led to help with SoKM in Decatur, and I have a heart for praying for others and feel deeply that is something I am supposed to do more of. I wold love someday to speak at a conference or class and share my story.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I grew up attending church and was water baptized very young. As a young adult I committed my life to Jesus and was baptized again so I could make my faith known. I honestly can’t remember not believing in Jesus, but my life has grown deeper in faith over the years.
Ladies Bible study leader, Northwest Christian Church, Decatur IL
2003 to 2015
Teen Youth Leader for High School age, Northwest Christian Church
1995 to 2002
Women’s Christian Fellowship President, Northwest Christian Church
1996 to 1998
In 1996 my husband and I joined a small group bible study, and we studied Experincing God by Henry Blackaby. That put a hunger in me to keep studying nad learning, but it also changed my understanding of how God is at work in our world.
I had a serious, near death illness in 2008, I was not expected to survive, let alone walk and function independently. God has healed me of so much. I still have some lingering health issues, but I know God is so real and present in them with me. I learned how to grow strength in spite of suffering and pain. I also learned the Church sometimes means well but does not always know what to say to someone in a difficult situation.
I took SoKM in 2017 to 2018. My life is forever changed, my eyes have been opened to the current ministry of the Holy Spirit. Ive been transformed and have such a passion and hunger to teach and share this with others.
My illness as mentioned above, while it was positive it was also negative. I have suffered much and lost much because of it. I understand what it feels like to have people stop calling or visiting because they were uncomfortable with my pain. God has used this to help me be much more compassionate and kind.
My parents divorced when I was 12 and I was raised by a difficult step mother. I have experienced physical and emotional abuse at the hands of those who were to care for me. But I have been blessed to have had fantastic Christian therapy to help me and the Holy Spirit has delivered me from the pain and hurt so now I have love and compassion for those who hurt me.
I have watche a church split over disagreements and selfish choices and through that saw Christian people treat their brothers and sisters with such animosity and hate. I don’t want to be that kind of church member,
