S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Treena Tulloch for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Evangelism (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Christ’s love for me has been so overwhelming and I want everyone I encounter to have the chance of knowing Him and experiencing that love too. It also hurts my heart to know that someone may die without knowing Jesus…the Word says that it’s not God’s will that any man perish. I feel I have a duty to share the truth about God and His grace but also the consequence of sin.

#2 Gift, Teaching (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I see the Word of God as a guide for our daily life – there are so many answers in the Bible. If more people were able to understand the Word of God and be able to apply it to their lives, we’d be better off in community.
When I spend time reading and studying the Word, the Holy Spirit reveals truth in ways that I am either able to expound on what has been taught before, or relay what I’ve learnt in ways that I haven’t heard presented.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
When I receive encouragement from the Lord through reading His Word, I am excited to share that with others by listening, sympathizing and encouraging them through difficult situations.
I enjoy being able and available to be used by God in situations where others have suffered and need a word of encouragement or even exhortation. I enjoy inspiring and motivating others to seek the Lord for themselves in order for them to experience His faithfulness more frequently in their lives.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Gave my life to the Lord at 9 years old and got baptized at that age. Was a leader in ISCF throughout high school, but backslid for almost 10 years. Recommitted my life to Christ in October 2016 after attending TLC for a few months

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

ISCF (treasurer at Westwood High School then Vice President at Hampton School)
TLC:
Hospitality (Ushering) approximately 2 years
Production Ministry (approximately 3 months?)
Life Group Leader (2019 last semester)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

– Being mentored by my high school Biology teacher who was also the staff member in charge of ISCF

– Meeting my husband and God using Him as a catalyst in drawing me back to Him (the Lord)

– Being in discipleship, both formally and informally

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

– Backsliding and falling away from God for many years resulting in many heartbreak and much pain and trauma

– Being betrayed as a child and experiencing trauma from that

– Being in a major car accident requiring surgery, extended bed rest, and dependence in loved ones

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Raising children who are on fire for God and whose lives are completely out for Christ

4. Ministering to and teaching many women around the world, leading them to Christ and providing a space for them to heal and grow in the Lord

5. To have multiple streams of income and to earn abundantly so that I could set up not just hospitals but holistic wellness centres across the Carribean and the world
