Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in church, was saved at Awahna’s on a Wednesday night in middle school. Really made my faith my own and grew in my relationship with Christ my freshman year of college. Learning and growing daily.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

West Hartsville Baptist: youth and children’s, VBS director, children’s Sunday school teacher

Lawndale Baptist: college ministry and children

Oak Grove Baptist: children and VBS

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Serving along side Deb at Lawndale. She taught me the benefits and need to be organized and how it positively affects your ministry.

Stepping out and going to a different church in high school than I was raised in my whole life. It taught me to question things and find the answers for myself in Gods word not believing things just because the pastor said it was true. My faith because my own the more I began to find out answers to my questions myself.

Spending time in South Africa with Jonathan the year we were married. My eyes and heart were opened to a big world that an even bigger God created. I saw poverty and great need, God showed me true joy and happiness and where it comes from. Our marriage was strengthened through doing really rough ministry together

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Elijah spending some time in the NICU when he was born. God is good ALL the time even when it’s hard for us to see. He is in total control and that is the more comforting thing!

Dealing with health issues and being able to relate to others who are going through similar issues.

A bad relationship in high school that I have been able to relate with and minister to young girls who are facing similar relationships now.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Spending more time overseas especially Africa meeting needs and loving people simply because Gods loves me and Gods loves them

4. Helping moms navigate through the thought time motherhood can bring (staying organized and helping put plans into actions, providing resources, and growing together spiritually. )

5. Writing a blog or book for pastors wives/moms/working moms, a resource and outlet for all the “stuff” that comes with being a pastors wife.
