S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Trinity Schneider for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
One of my love languages is words of affirmation so I would say because that is the love language that I love to receive I am able to give it to others. I am able to give people encouragement very easily that is just one of my gifts I guess.

#2 Gift, Serving (56%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am willing to serve others because it brings me joy to help others become less stressed and more relieved. I know that when I’m down I love it when people come by my side when I need support the most and I like being a reliable and loyal friend to those I care about.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (53%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always put myself in other peoples shoes to understand the way that they are acting or why they feel the way they feel so I can better understand them. I always got the compassion award since like third grade up until sixth grade so I guess I’ve just always had that in me.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Things that bring joy in my life is my friendships and being able to be there for my friends and for them to be there for me.

2. My family brings fulfillment to my life since they have always been there for me and would do everything for me and I would do anything for them.

3. Something else that is bad that gives me fulfillment is the attention from others specifically guys. I have this need/want for attention from them and once I get it and then lose it I start to scramble and need that attention to be filled again.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

My parents because they are looking for my best interest and don’t have any alternative motives. My friends because they are always there for me and have my back. I have two college friends as well who keep me on track.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I haven’t been to church in years since my brother has autism and it has been really hard to have a church that we can go to with him because one of my parents will always have to keep him quiet and that takes a lot of worth. So I don’t know what issues are in the church but hopefully I’ll be able to go to one more regularly in the future.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
