S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Trisha Casey for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was saved as a child. I was baptized around age 6 and I love Jesus as a little girl. I spent my teenage and early adult years “running from God” but I recommitted my life to him again when I was around 22. I struggled with strongholds in my life but I never gave up on God. I still went to church and I never gave up. I am now living a victorious life over sin, all glory to God! I’m fully committed to Jesus and I want to grow and share my faith with others.
I served at The Church of the Living God, Muncie, IN. I attended that church for 5 years and I served as an usher and a Sunday School teacher.
I attended Faith Cathedral Ministries in Muncie, IN for almost 5 years and it was a very small church. I did whatever they needed. Helped with community outreach and cleaned the church.
I attend the Refuge Ministries International in Noblesville, IN. I’ve been there a little over a year. I do whatever the pastor asks of me. I’ve started helping with the media board and the overhead slides. I’ve led communion and prayed over the congregation. There’s not much to do but as we grow I hope to be more involved. It’s also an hour away from where I live which makes it difficult to be more hands-on.
Becoming a mother.
Getting married.
Earning my bachelor’s degree.
Losing my closest cousin, my father and ex-husband. Their deaths were absolutely devastating and completely unexpected. I know what it feels like to lose someone and to be absolutely destroyed.
Being the survivor of an attempted kidnapping/carjacking. I know what it feels like to be traumatized and scared. I fought off my attackers and I survived.
Going through a divorce. It was one of the worst experiences of my life and I have a great compassion for broken families.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would work in media, creating Christ centered content for the masses. I would write books, or produce and direct Christian shows or films. Living in Southern California.
4. I would work in a church based outreach ministering to the homeless and less fortunate. I would work at a shelter or food bank.
5. If I had the physical stamina, I would like to build homes for the poor or travel overseas on missions trips.
