[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Serve- I enjoy serving God’s people, and am truly fulfilled when I am able to see God bring change in peoples lives through my service.

2. Lead/Coach- I enjoy being in the driver’s seat. I like to assemble teams, and I enjoy working as a team in anything. Sports, business, church.

3. Action- I love anything that will give me an adrenaline rush. Although I haven’t explored this side of me in some time, sports serve as a secondary action that gives me fulfillment

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love ministering to kids 12-20. I can speak to them clearly because I can build relationships with them. On my team I like a healthy mix of young adults and parents.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Excite- the global mission field and the opportunity to involve students

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saves at a young age after experiencing Columbine near my home and 9-11 not too long after. Death was obvious, and I wanted to know where I was going. I fell away from the church in my early 20s after my parents divorce. I came back to it through a series of miracles God performed in my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Oak Hills Church- San Antonio Texas
3 years
Student Ministry Volunteer

Calvary Baptist Church- Savannah Georgia
1 year
Student Ministry Volunteer / Interim Youth Pastor

Mannahouse- Eugene Oregon
Student Ministry Volunteer
6 months

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My time serving at Calvary Baptist, I rediscovered my passion for students.

God giving me another chance in life even though I did not deserve it, by giving me an opportunity in Eugene

Taking my health seriously

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Getting an eviction and a repo

Falling away from God

Going to jail for a public intoxication

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would build orphanages with schools, churches, and professional grade sports complexes in multiple impoverished countries. The kids would have extensive biblical training.. they would also have medical training as well as the math and sciences.

4. I would get all of my family in one general area, and build us homes on a bunch of land so we could stay close

5. I would start a massive social media driven giving fund to help those in need.
